ENIGMA KEYS BROKEN AT PC BRUNO
Tadeusz Lisicki commanded the signal battalion of the Polish General Staff, stationed in Stanmore. On 31 October 1984, he sent Gordon Welchman a list of German Enigma keys broken at the headquarters of French intelligence service department, the fifth Bureau. The list was compiled by the head of the Polish team stationed there after the fall of Poland, Lieutenant-Colonel Guido Langer. The location had the codename PC Bruno.
